How I can help

I take partnership responsibility for risk management across Cooper Parry. My role also encompasses ethical requirements, professional standards and technical excellence.  I work closely with everyone in the firm to enable us to deliver top quality client service and to maintain our integrity.

My experience

I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 with an independent firm in Leicester.  I then gained several years’ experience as an audit manager dealing with many different types of client before developing the role I have today.

How long I've been part of the team

I joined Cooper Parry in 1997.  I became a senior manager in 2002 and a partner in 2008. Prior to that I gained a degree in Accounting at the University of Hull.

My interests

I love classical music, and have a particular interest in the life and works of Johann Sebastian Bach.  I also play the piano.  When time permits, I enjoy working on and driving my two classic cars.  I also like travelling and learning French and German (although I am fluent in neither).  I am a Leicester City supporter, which makes for some interesting discussions with my wife Caroline, who follows Nottingham Forest.
