Regional advisers to private business, Cooper Parry, celebrate the achievement of 2 Star Status in the 2007 Best Companies Accreditation.
The accreditation, developed by Best Companies is based on a star rating system where one star is first class, two stars are outstanding, and three stars are extraordinary. Organisational successes have been defined using data from the ‘2007 Best Companies to Work For’ survey which involved surveying 100,000 employees from 434 companies.
Out of all 434 organisations who registered to go for ‘Star Status’, 273 organisations achieved ‘Star Status’ success with 124 companies achieving one Star Status, 107 achieving 2 Star Status and only 42 organisations achieved 3 Star Status.
Cooper Parry’s Chief Executive Jeremy Bowler said “Having achieved 2 Star Status at our first attempt, we are delighted to have been recognised in this manner as outstanding employers. This recognition reflects our strong vision to employ and retain the very best people in the region. And next time we can aim even higher and try and achieve the 3 Star Status!’
Jonathon Austin, Chief Executive from Best Companies commented on Cooper Parry’s success ‘Cooper Parry’s 2007 accreditation is an outstanding achievement. It confirms their commitment to the on-going journey of workplace engagement. Our role is to set a rigorous benchmark so that organisations can become even better employers.’
