Colleagues at regional Business Advisers Cooper Parry, are setting off for Mont Blanc to do half of what is known as the “Tour du Mont Blanc.”

Known as the circumnavigation of the Mont Blanc massif, they will be starting in Chamonix, France and ending up in Courmayeur in Italy.

The team consists of Cooper Parry business tax partner Philip Rogers, John-Joe Cottam, Ivan Wilcox, Phillip Smith and Eoin Matthews, together with friend Martin Lander.

They will be stacking up around 52 miles in three days and climbing more than 17,000 feet.  Carrying all their own gear, they’ll be stopping over at mountain huts and refuges en route.

Business Tax partner, Philip Rogers said, “We have been totting up the mileage over several months and last year completed the Three Peaks Challenge, so we feel prepared.  We’re hoping the weather will be kind to us for the tour.”

The team plan to travel back across Mont Blanc by cable car to Chamonix.
