Cooper Parry Compeltes Another Trans-Atlantic Deal
CBS Metals Limited has been acquired by Philadelphia-based General Machine Products Co., Inc, (GMP).
CBS, which is based in Rutland, is a market leader in the design and manufacture of a range of cable installation equipment used in a variety of applications including the Electricity, telecommunications and CATV industries.
GMP has grown to become recognised as a premier worldwide supplier of speciality outside plant tools and equipment for the telecommunications, power utility and cable television marketplace. The acquisition expands GMP’s product range and gives them a significant holding of the UK market.
David Browne and Sally Williams of Cooper Parry Corporate Finance acted as lead advisers to the sellers, with Nigel Blackwell and Mark Hughes of Browne Jacobson providing legal advice.
