Guest Speaker Justin Urquhart Stewart, of Seven Investment Management, gives Cooper Parry clients his top tips at an investment dinner held at Nottingham’s World Service last week.
The event was designed for Cooper Parry clients to get the opportunity to speak to Justin and ask him and the Cooper Parry team any questions they had related to investments. During the event Justin provided Cooper Parry clients with an overview of the world markets and issues, investment principles and the importance of good financial planning.
Justin’s top tips on the evening were ‘Firstly if you are planning to invest then first invest in some planning. Secondly investment needs a clear process and discipline and is not just the financial version of the 2.30 at Nottingham races (i.e. not a stock or fund tip) and thirdly always obtain professional independent advice.’
Director of Cooper Parry Financial Services Stephen Jones added ‘we were delighted to have Justin speak at our first investment dinner and the feedback we have had from clients has been very positive, we definitely plan to run a similar event again in the near future.’
