How I can help

I am an HR Consultant within the external consulting team.  I provide pragmatic advice on HR matters to resolve any technical and practical queries about the employment relationship.  My experience from within both the private business and public sector allows me to adapt my solutions in order to provide the best advice for clients.

My experience

I completed my CIPD qualification in 1995 and became MCIPD in 1998.  I have a Masters degree in Strategic Human Resource Management.  My qualifications complement over 12 years HR experience which includes generalist roles and specialist work in employee relations.

How long I've been part of the Cooper Parry team

I have worked here since May 2007.

What I did before

My previous roles have focused on working with managers and employees to ensure the integrity of the HR processes and the credibility of the HR function.   I have managed large recruitment projects, restructuring projects, and the introduction of HR policies and procedures.  I have also been involved in achievement of Investors in People accreditation and for the achievement of ISO accreditation.

Great things I've done

In my previous roles I have successfully managed office relocations and have introduced performance management systems.  I have helped to develop the careers of others by ensuring that appropriate and targeted development activities were undertaken.  

My interests

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I am in the middle of renovating my house which seems to take up most of my time!
