Tyrone Courtman and Evelyn Exley, Licensed Insolvency Practitioners, of Cooper Parry LLP, Business Advisers of Nottingham, were appointed Joint Receivers over Clifton Hall on 18 July 2007.
Clifton Hall is a substantial Grade I Listed 17th Century mansion house. The home of the Clifton family and visited by King Charles I in 1632.
In pursuance of a Court Order granted by Nottingham County Court the Joint Receivers took possession of the Hall on 18 September 2008.
Tyrone Courtman commented “we are employing 24 hour security to safeguard the Hall and Knight Frank LLP of Birmingham have been instructed to market what is quite a unique property”.
