When a business is in difficulty the management are walking a tightrope, trying to keep things going whilst managing pressure from creditors, and protecting their position personally. There are many potential traps to avoid.
My experience
I have been a licenced insolvency practitioner for many years. I have worked in a wide range of turnaround and insolvency situations across the south and west midlands with a top 10 accountancy firm. I have particular experience and expertise in the retail sector, high tech and pubs and clubs.
How long I've been part of the Cooper Parry team
I have been at Cooper Parry since March 2008.
What I did before
I worked at a top 10 accountancy firm, having originally started in Insolvency with Cork Gully more years ago than I care to remember
Great things I've done
Our greatest successes are where the business can be saved, however these remain confidential as the companies involved are still trading. We become involved with all sorts of different businesses. I ran a Safari Park for about 6 months, and am one of the few people in the country with experience of selling a Mississippi paddle steamer.
My interests
I enjoy reading, sport, and given the time and the money, to travel.
