What do you do?

I’m a Financial Auditor – in a nutshell I head out on site to various clients and ensure that their financial results for the year are accurate and prepared in line with UK reporting requirements

Why do you do it?

I joined a graduate scheme with one of the “Big 4” when I graduated from University, as part of their audit team (without really knowing what I was getting into)! I stayed there for 3 years, completing my ACA qualification, then moved on to bigger and better things.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Each audit has its own challenges and opportunities for us to add some value. This can include advice on restructuring, new acquisitions and expansion to overseas territories. The variety from one job to another is what keeps me interested and motivated!

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I’d love to do a road trip down the West coast of America, including LA, San Francisco and Las Vegas!
