What do you do?

I am an audit assistant manager in the Tech and High Growth team at CP. My role consists of project managing, liaising with the client on a day-to-day basis and ensuring our audits are effective yet efficient.

Why do you do it?

This is where people expect me to say I had a burning desire to be an accountant from a young age and that it was my destiny. This was far from the truth; to me a life anywhere near accountancy looked inherently dull and dreary.

Then I found CP, they flipped this perception of mine on its head. I was able to join a fast paced and vibrant company that allowed me to enhance my strengths, whilst being surrounded by some truly amazing people!

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I started out at CP as a fresh-faced school leaver in the West Midlands office. Where I spent my time as an audit assistant right through to an audit senior. During this time, I worked on audits across the spectrum from small family run businesses to academies and multi-million-pound tech companies.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

The theme in the T&HG team seems to be travel related… and I’m going to stick with this and say I want to have walked the Inca trail by the time I’m 30!
