    What do you do?

    I’m a facilities manager. My main focus is to look after all things health and safety – but in the most non-traditional and very CP way possible. From new starter inductions, DSE and risk assessments, to fire safety and first aid – my job is to think of quirky ways to comply! You’ll also find me championing our eco initiatives and I am chief blackboard artist too!

    Why do you do it?

    Being in the facilities team is massively varied. I thrive on being part of the team who keep the building running – being operational and creative at the same time, where no day is the same. From office interior design, creating an exciting our social calendar, keeping our wellbeing programme fresh, meeting contractors, delving into our maintenance, complying with health and safety regs, buying in our food and beverage and managing our meeting provision – we get involved in it all and work with loads of different teams and departments.

    What kind of projects have you been involved in?

    I headed up the installation of our electric car charging points, overhauled our new starter inductions, filming interactive health and safety videos for each office. I write our monthly eco newsletter and our new perspex comms blackboard was my way of communicating in bright, bold CP style.

    What’s on top of your bucket list?

    That’s a hard one.  I want to dance with Lord of the Dance, take my kids for Christmas in Lapland and be a contestant on Supermarket Sweep. Not necessarily in that order!
