What do you do?

I’m head of words. I have the joy of playing with words. Creating new written material. From website content to award submissions and everything in between. All spoken with a CP accent. Well tone of voice.

Why do you do it?

I started out as a journalist. I love words. I don’t do numbers. Though I do have an o-level in accounting.

I’ve come full circle back to writing via a career in communications and marketing. As the brilliant Tina Weymouth said: “Words in papers, words in books. Words on TV, words for crooks. Words of comfort, words of peace. Words to make the fighting cease. Words to tell you what to do. Words are working hard for you”.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’m by nature curious. Some would say nosey. I love the fact that I get involved in all sorts of projects. I work with a wide range of fabulous CP people.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Can I headline Glastonbury? If not I’ll settle for visiting the 19 US states I’ve not yet travelled to. 31 out of 50 isn’t bad. And I’m still counting.
