What do you do?
I’m a Marketing & Project Executive here at CP, which means that I coordinate marketing activity campaigns, support in all sorts of activity across the wider team and tend to look after the data and systems side of things within the marketing function. That’s the short story anyway!
Why do you do it?
I very much stumbled into marketing. I decided at college in 2019 that I didn’t want to go to university so started looking into other options. Which is when I found a 12-month internship in the CP marketing team, and I haven’t looked back since.
I completely fell in love with the way marketing works. From being thought-provoking with words and images to making people feel special. It all just fascinates me, and I love learning what to do and how to do it as I go. I’ve been really lucky to experience a couple of different roles in my time here, but for me, it all comes back to marketing and the drive to get the emotion (and stats) that we want using assets we’ve created.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
Too many to count! I’ve been lucky to have a hand in a lot of different stuff that’s gone on in CP over the years but my first big solo project (and a real passion project for me) is the marketing co-ordination of our Impact Beyond Business offering.
I led the roll out of comms when we got B Corp (whooo!) and also led on the webpage rebrand as well as curating sustainability content to showcase our brilliant team. I’m really chuffed with what we’ve done so far and can’t wait to see where CP takes our Impact Beyond Business.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
Going to see as many artists live as possible. I’ve recently ticked off the Arctic Monkeys and Harry Styles (twice!) but there’s still plenty more to go. Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift, Jonas Brothers, Rihanna. Oh, and could someone PLEASE get One Direction back together? Because that’s the ultimate goal.
