    What do you do?

    I am an assistant manager in the amazing not for profit department here at CP. I manage the audit process from planning through to completion and my aim is to make the audit process as efficient as possible. I am available to support my clients on any queries they have throughout the year and particularly during the year end process.

    Why do you do it?

    I didn’t grow up wanting to be an auditor but I graduated during a recession and accountancy was hiring so decided to go for it and I haven’t looked back since – I love my job and particularly working at Cooper Parry. I have always been a numbers person and love the logical side of accountancy but audit is about so much more than numbers, it is about understanding my clients and building relationships with them and my teams! I love specialising in not for profit and working with my amazing clients. Their motivations in what they do are so different to private businesses, they want to make a positive impact on society and that is something that I also feel very passionate about.

    What kind of projects have you been involved in?

    I provide audit services to a wide range of charities and academy trusts. I love building relationships with my clients and understanding them and what makes their charity or academy trust unique!

    What’s on top of your bucket list?

    I don’t have a bucket list, there isn’t a list of things to do or places to go that I have to tick off to make my life worthwhile or complete. I am passionate about being grateful for what I have right now and enjoying life with my young family, I make the most of every day and every opportunity that I have!
