    What do you do?

    Hey I’m Stephen Jevons, a Service Charge Assistant Manager at Cooper Parry. My role involves reviewing our client’s expenditure for properties they manage on behalf of their own clients and preparing yearly certification of these costs.

    Why do you do it?

    I have always enjoyed working with numbers and spreadsheets. I moved into a property accountant role around 20 years ago and really enjoyed the work.

    What kind of projects have you been involved in?

    I have recently reviewed the new RICS guidelines that come into effect from 1 April 2019 and created a new “NOTES to the Accounts” page that is to be included within the annual certification document I prepare for them. Working with the client to achieve a beneficial and compliant report for both them and their clients/tenants was rewarding as it’s not in our usual day to day routine and gave me the opportunity to grow the relationship with the client.

    What’s on top of your bucket list?

    I really want to visit my partner’s parents in Florida, and combine this with a road trip across America in a Motorhome.our-people/our-people-service-charge/people-stephenje/
