What do you do?

I’m an Associate Partner in Audit, working with businesses to make sure the numbers they report are accurate, reliable and meaningful. My role is about understanding how a business really works and helping clients navigate growth, change and the occasional challenge along the way. Friends sometimes joke that I “count beans”, but what I actually enjoy is helping businesses understand the story behind their numbers and giving them confidence in their reporting and decisions.

Why do you do it?

What I enjoy most is getting to know different businesses and the people behind them. Every organisation operates a little differently, and I like the challenge of understanding how things work from the inside. I originally moved into audit after starting my career in accounts, and I stayed because I love the variety and the problem-solving. I also enjoy building strong relationships with clients and being someone they can rely on through both the smooth periods and the more challenging ones.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve worked with organisations across a wide range of industries and sizes, from smaller owner-managed businesses to larger and more complex groups. My experience includes statutory audits, supporting businesses through periods of growth, helping improve internal processes and working collaboratively with teams across CP and beyond. Whatever the project, my focus is always on adding value, building trust and making sure clients feel supported and well informed.

What’s top of your bucket list?

Travelling to Japan during cherry blossom season is right at the top of my bucket list. I’ve always loved cherry blossom trees and would love to experience that moment in person, walking through parks full of blossom, taking in the scenery and immersing myself in the culture. It feels like one of those once-in-a-lifetime trips.
