What do you do?

I’m a Chartered Accountant specialising in auditing pension schemes. My role involves reviewing and verifying the financial statements and operations of these funds to ensure compliance with regulations and accurate reporting. Essentially, I ensure that the funds are managed correctly and transparently, safeguarding the future savings of retirees.

Why do you do it?

I chose to specialise in pension scheme auditing because I have a strong interest in ensuring financial integrity and protecting people’s long-term savings. What I enjoy most is the impact of my work—knowing that I’m helping to secure people’s financial futures and ensuring their retirement savings are managed responsibly.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve tackled diverse projects ranging from auditing some of the largest Retirement Funds in Africa to more recently auditing a diverse range of schemes in the UK.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Having an adventurous spirit and loving the great outdoors, climbing Kilimanjaro is one of my top bucket list items. Reaching the top of the tallest free-standing mountain in the world will truly be a breathtaking adventure and an achievement like no other.
