We don’t just offer audit. We go further with assurance and advisory services for organisations needing external validation and support. Whether that’s for grants, compliance, accounting advisory, ESG considerations, corporate governance or control development. No matter what the size or sector you operate in we’ve got the expertise to support your assurance needs helping you navigate any complex reporting requirements.
Our independent assurance goes beyond the numbers. Providing confidence in your reporting and insight into your performance. Reducing risk and helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
Objective third-party assurance.
Reliable, relevant, accurate data.
Lower the chance of poor decisions based on faulty information.
Build trust with investors, regulators, and your stakeholders
Beyond financial. Think business performance, IT systems, compliance, and more.
Commercially minded with audit expertise. The best of both worlds. We solve the aches and pains in your finance teams and systems. Reporting that’s fresh and practical. Unsure where to start? We’ll figure it out together and keep it simple and cost effective. We provide independent validation. Trusted by funders, auditors and boards alike.
This isn’t box‑ticking. It’s deeper, smarter reassurance that adds real weight to your story. Combined with a practical, people‑first approach.
Through Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP), ISA reports and Non‑Financial Assurance (NFA), we deliver targeted, independent reassurance across both financial and non‑financial reporting. The result is confidence that stands up to scrutiny and insight that genuinely supports better decisions.
Grant claims without the headache. Assurance without the faff. Grant funding can unlock huge innovation, but it comes with paperwork, evidence requirements and eligibility rules.
We can get under the skin of your project, check eligible costs lines and make sure your claim ticks every box the funders expect. Innovate UK, local authority funding, government schemes and sector-specific posts. We’ve dealt with them all. We’ll make sure you have a fully compliant Independent Accountants Report (IAR) and peace of mind.
When it comes to grants we highlight risks early so you’re never surprised by clawbacks or rejected claims. We translated guidance into plain English, so you know exactly what’s eligible and what isn’t.
Our team in Northern Ireland audit Invest NI grant claims for the Department for the Economy and review charitable grant submissions. We make sure your submissions are robust. EU funding or otherwise. We’ll help you navigate the process with clarity and confidence.
Whether you’re dealing with lenders, funders, auditors, or internal stakeholders, sometimes you need that independent stamp of credibility.
We dig beneath the numbers to validate what’s really going on. From revenue streams and customer activity to supplier arrangements and external confirmations. Our approach is friendly, forensic, and fast. You’ll get a clear, concise outcome that strengthens trust and helps you move forward with confidence.
We provide insight you can use. We don’t just confirm. We highlight trends, anomalies and opportunities to strengthen your controls.
Why this matters
The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (ECCTA) introduces a new criminal offence of “failure to prevent fraud”.
Organisations can be liable if fraud is committed by employees or agents for the organisation’s benefit, unless they can demonstrate reasonable fraud-prevention procedures were in place.
This makes your controls more important than ever as they are now a legal defence, not just good governance.
Weak or poorly evidenced controls can expose the organisations to prosecution, fines and reputational damage.
Who’s impacted
Large organisations that meet two or more of the following thresholds:

Assessing your current position against the six guiding principles.
Fraud risk assessment

How we work
Scope
Choose the level of service that suits your needs. We offer flexible packages with clear pricing for every stage of support.
The best run businesses are worth more, move faster and leave their competitors playing catch up. We can assess how your governance framework stacks up against best practice, regulatory expectations and your strategic goals
We can help you sharpen up your governance with clear practical actions, boosting accountability and levelling up your approach to risk.
For big business there’s also the new ‘failure to prevent fraud’ offence under the Economic Crime & Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA). We’ll get under the skin of your business. Dig into your policies and spotlight the gaps and risks that matter. All anchored in the Act’s guiding principles. And because fraud prevention starts with people, we’ll train your teams too. Building awareness, confidence and a culture that reduces your overall risk.
If you’re struggling with clunky controls or chaotic processes, we can help. With your team we can understand and map out what’s really going on. Spotlighting the bottlenecks and showing you where things can run slicker. Giving you a smoother smarter operation that frees up your team so they can focus on things that actually shift the dial.
Want to boost your credibility as a Pension Trustee? Getting on The Pensions Regulator’s Trustee Register is a smart move. To get there, you’ll need an independent accountant’s report showing your internal controls stack up against the AAF 02/07 framework. That’s exactly what we do, and we make it simple.
Standards change. Businesses evolve. Transactions get messy. And sometimes you just need someone to step in, untangle the technical stuff, and get your reporting right first time.
Whether you’re concerned about the changes to a standard such as FRS102. Considering a transition to IFRS. Refreshing your accounting policies. Or dealing with acquisition accounting. We bring clarity to complexity. We work alongside your finance team, understand your business, and give you advice that’s technically spot‑on and easy to apply in practice.
From standard transitions to one‑off technical questions. We’re your sounding board. And your safety net. We make shifting to new reporting frameworks feel controlled and manageable.
We’re friendly, present and easy to work with. Our team integrates seamlessly into your business, working alongside you to deliver assurance and advisory projects collaboratively. We focus on outcomes that work for everyone, without adding pressure, and we tailor our output to what you actually need.

If your stakeholders rely on accurate information, assurance services help you prove it.
It depends. There are different permissions for different size entities and different types of advisory work. It’s worth having a conversation to check.
An audit is a specific type of assurance focused on verifying financial statements against accounting standards. Assurance services go beyond audits. They can cover processes, controls, and non-financial data to provide a broader level of trust and transparency. Assurance services can be focussed on specific areas of interest.
Assurance services build credibility. They show investors, regulators, and customers that your business is transparent and well-managed. They also highlight risks early, improve decision-making, and strengthen trust in your brand.
By reviewing your systems and controls, assurance services identify weaknesses before they become costly problems. They provide insights that help you tighten processes, reduce fraud risk, and stay compliant. Keeping your business resilient and future ready.
”Speedy responses and helped me as I was new to payroll.”
“CP took the time to understand our business – they listened. Rather than sending a ‘standard’ deliverable request, they picked up the phone to discuss first. Always good to talk.”
“Always very helpful staff in terms of explaining and walking through processes with us. The audit and tasks are completed on time”
“The communication from Jess, Jo and Glen has been superb. They are all very approachable and it’s a pleasure to work with them. I also find the online portal Inflo to be very user friendly and easy to use. Communication with the more junior members of the team can sometimes be a bit of a challenge if they aren’t fully certain on the questions they ask however this is completely understandable with them being at the start of their career journey. They are also very approachable and keen to ensure the correct outcome is reached.”
”Top support and a pleasure to work with.”
”Performed audit in a timely manner with minimal impact on our finance team.”
”Very polite and professional team.”
”There’s a potential typo on the signed accounts which we didn’t spot until after they had been signed and filed. It’s been unnecessarily difficult this year with regards to the M>R and liaison between Myriad and your tax team. You (Glen) weren’t copied into the correspondence and chasing. I’m putting a 7 in the “how likely to recommend” box below, as we feel that you’re set up for larger organisations.”
