What do you do?

Am still not sure! I guess that it covers everything from providing strategic advice to business owners, to assisting clients with their day to day financial requirements. It’s always quite varied and fast paced, as todays business environment expects speedy and accurate information.

Why do you do it?

I enjoy the variety of the work and the interaction, both with clients and members of the team. It’s fulfilling when you’re able to provide advice or a solution to an issue or challenge presented by either clients or team members.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Everything ranging from forensic accounting cases (some of which ended up in court), to tax planning, to assisting in buying or selling businesses, to a period in which I was Financial Director of a Private Equity backed business which operated in the manufacturing sector. Pretty varied, to be honest!

What’s top of your bucket list?

I love the outdoors, so the thought of a cycling holiday with a few friends in a sunny location would certainly help me get through the long winter evenings.
