What do you do?

I lead on all things Practice recruitment across Scotland. This ranges from working with the Big 4 to smaller independents along with everything in between. I partner with these organisations to assist in finding the best candidates as they continue to grow. I use my extensive experience within recruitment to make ensure anyone I am dealing with gets an exceptional level of service and that I understand exactly what it is both the clients and candidates are looking for.  

Why do you do it?

Throughout university I had a job with an organisation that ran all things food & drink at The Open (Golf Championship), I was part of the staffing team, working with over 1,000 people per day over the course of a week, this was when I realised I wanted to be people focused throughout my career. This gave me an experience of the recruitment aspect too, albeit on a much more temporary and large scale basis. I fell into Accountancy recruitment following university and have never looked back! I love helping people find opportunities that helps them grow and have a successful career.  

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve been involved in a wide range of projects across Scotland’s accountancy practice market — from supporting ambitious growth plans and helping clients hire their first person into new offices, to building senior leadership teams and placing future partners. I work closely with firms to identify the right talent that drives strategy forward, while helping candidates find roles that truly align with their goals. For clients, that means faster, more targeted hiring, stronger teams, and sustainable growth. For candidates, it’s about opening doors to genuine career-defining opportunities.
