FAQ’S

GENERAL
The majority of our roles are either based in our Head Office – Sky View (DE74 2SA) or Central Birmingham (B3 3AX). We also have a few graduate level roles in our London office (EC2A 2AP)
Thanks to our casual dress policy you won’t need to break the bank to be suited and booted. If you’re invited to interview or assessment centre come in whatever you feel comfortable in.
Our next main intake will start on 21st August 2023. This start date allows for a full induction. It’ll give you time in the business before your study period commences.
Definitely not. Our Early Career intake in 2022 was a total of 64 people. Year on year we’re increasing that number. Cooper Parry value the fresh perspective students bring to our business.
The majority of your induction will be held near our East Midlands Airport office. Lasting between 1 – 2 weeks. Though that depends on which area of the business you join. If your office base is Birmingham or London and you live outside of commuting distance, you will be provided with hotel accommodation for the duration of the induction.
APPLYING
Of course – It doesn’t matter how long ago you graduated. If you’ve completed a degree in any discipline you’re eligible to apply.
It depends on the role you are applying for. Potentially you could continue your studies with us. Please apply to our Graduate role if you’re part qualified.
No. You won’t be judged for your disability at any stage of your application. We’d encourage you to disclose your disability at an early stage in the application process. That way we can provide all accommodations you need. We want to ensure you have an equal opportunity. And the best chance of success.
We’re proud to be a Disability Confident employer. This means that if you’re the best fit for the role, we’ll make all reasonable adjustments at work to enable you to thrive in your career at CP. To read more about our commitments to equity and fairness, check out our Diversity & Inclusion page.
We know there is more to you than just your educational qualifications. If you don’t meet the requirements, we’d still encourage you to apply. You’ll be given the option of sharing additional information for us to review alongside your application.
Don’t overthink it. Our assessment centre focuses on collaboration and teamwork. You won’t know anything about the task in advance so if anything, over preparing isn’t always the best method.

You’ll be given paid study leave to attend classes for your technical studies. This can range from a day every week to a block of time depending on your qualification.
Our Student Support Manager will be there to understand your circumstances. We’ll guide you on how to apply for these with the relevant qualification institute. We’ll also work closely with our training provider to ensure you have a study plan in place to support you throughout your studies.
FEEDBACK
Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications we only give feedback to candidates who get through to our Assessment Centre.
Of course! We welcome returning applicants on all programmes excluding the placement scheme. All we ask is that you wait 6 months between applications. Take on board our feedback. Come back with new qualities to show us.
