PROBLEM

The Appreciate Group is a leading UK provider of digital retail payment solutions, operating across three core brands: Love2shop, Park Christmas Savings and Highstreetvouchers.com. Following its acquisition by PayPoint, the group needed to standardise and scale its marketing operations across all brands to support growth, efficiency and reliability.

Each brand had been operating with separate email and SMS platforms, resulting in fragmented processes, unreliable tools and frequent downtime. This made it difficult to manage the end‑to‑end marketing lifecycle, produce accurate reporting and budgeting, and deliver consistent customer communications.

A major challenge was data migration at scale, with millions of customer records needing to be transferred daily from an external data warehouse without processing failures. The group required a single, scalable marketing platform integrated with Salesforce CRM to unify data, improve reliability and support future expansion.

SOLUTION

The Appreciate Group partnered with Cooper Parry Digital to implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, creating a unified marketing platform across all three brands.

The solution included:

  • Migration from disparate email and SMS systems to a single Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
  • Extensive use of Automation Studio to manage large‑scale data imports, segmentation and campaign reporting
  • Automated customer journeys using Journey Builder to reduce manual effort and improve engagement
  • Use of Email Studio and Content Builder to enable easy campaign creation with consistent branding
  • CRM data integration to provide a unified customer view across Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM
  • Custom preference centres using AMPScript to allow customers to update communication preferences in real time
