Chris Knott Partner, Head of R&D Incentives

Chris has advised on R&D claims for over 20 years. As an engineer by background and Chartered Tax Advisor, Chris understands both sides of claims. He is an active member of HMRC’s R&D Consultative Committee, which discusses and helps to set Governmental policies on R&D incentives. He has also recently been invited, as 1 of only 5 people nationally, to sit on the Chartered Institute of Tax’s Working Practices Group, aimed at raising standards in the R&D claims industry.

Donna Challinor Senior Manager, R&D Incentives

Donna has over 15 years’ experience advising clients in respect of the most valuable tax relief scheme currently available in the UK, the R&D incentives scheme.  Working closely with clients to discuss both the technical and financial aspects, across a range of sectors, ensuring that claims are maximised.

Mark Frost Director, R&D Incentives

Mark has spent 6 years in R&D Incentives teams with various Big 4 practices including being the Head of IT R&D incentives at KPMG. Prior to that he’s spent 4 years working with technology and engineering firms during his time as a technology management consultant. Mark has assisted companies from across all sectors making R&D incentives claims from technologies as diverse as spacecraft engines to eCommerce software platforms.
