THE STUFF WE ALL LOVE FROM THE PEERS WE RESPECT MOST
At Cooper Parry, we don’t do grey. Or dishwater dullness. Life’s too short. And you’re too busy.
Like you, we’re more inspired by collaborations with fellow leaders and businesses. Which is why we created this cool and edgy HUB CP Leadership Series.
Let’s face it, we’re all staring at some of the greatest business challenges today, many (but not all) amplified by Brexit, the pandemic, the war in Ukraine and Recession rumours.
Chatting to Leaders, Founders, Owners and Entrepreneurs, there’s never been a greater desire to power our way through this.
It’s all about exploring how we can share, learn and then impact business with fresh, ballsy and vibrant thinking. As far as topics go, we’re deliberately looking for the elephant in the room. The things we talk about but are difficult to provide a straightforward answer. The themes that are parked in the ‘too complex’ pile. The non-binary issues where there’s no one answer. Collectively, we get straight to the heart of any prickly matter by provoking open and honest discussion in an intimate, informal, peer-to-peer setting.
Together we answer the questions. And then question the answers.
The series is punctuated by dazzling insights, round tables, peer boards, attention-grabbing interviews, and topical showcases. Having reached out, we know that these likeminded individuals really want to hear about four current themes: Performance, Purpose, Disruption and Growth.
So that’s what we deliver – with inspiring people sharing captivating stories of trial and triumph that spark deep discussion into real life issues. Priceless nuggets are regularly shared for the HUB CP community to take away, apply, share and learn from.
Above all, we keep it real. Here’s a look at our recent HUB CP Leadership Series and a sneak peek at what’s around the corner. You’ll get the drift.
SEPTEMBER 2022- GROWTH
IS GROWTH ALWAYS WORTH IT?
Nope. This isn’t a defeatist position, it can be pragmatic, commercial nirvana. It just depends. We’re not afraid to look at the dark side of growth, the inequalities of benefit, or the restrictions to disruptive thinking and true purpose. We’ll be collaborating with outstanding business leaders who have strong points of view on the subject.
Can growth be achieved alongside true workplace equality? Suzanne Linton, 2022 Business Woman of the Year at the Women of the Year Awards and CEO of tech agency Freestyle, will share insights from her journey and look ahead on how gender diversity can be truly challenged.
Can we really have it all? Growth and purpose? From start-up to redefining our relationship with food and the environment, Paul Brown – Ex innocent Smoothies leader and Founder of BOL, explores how purpose is key to profit. Find out more HERE.
Is disruption fundamental or restrictive to true growth? We speak with virgin entrepreneurs but seasoned professional rugby players – Brad Shields and Josh Bassett – as they embark on disrupting the drinks market with hard seltzer. What are the transferable skills they will take from performing at an elite level of sport into disrupting one of the most competitive markets in the world!

GOING GREEN. BANDWAGON OF CONVENIENCE OR THE REAL DEAL?
Yes. We’re going there. Unpacking all the hype around Sustainability to get to the truth. Is it all lip service – bordering on greenwashing? Does profitability ultimately trump purpose? We look at every angle. Challenge conventional thinking. And hopefully, give context to a tsunami of opinions on the best direction of travel.
