What do you do?

I’m a Relationship Partner and look after our corporate clients, ensuring we deliver a brilliant service, add value and challenge the status quo. This does involve signing audit reports, which is similar to marking homework!!

Why do you do it?

I do it because I am naturally inquisitive, someone once told me I should be a detective. I love talking to people, developing relationships and understanding how things work. I can remember being little taking things apart to understand how they were made, unfortunately, I wasn’t so good at putting things back together again! I also really like to help people and solve problems, whether that be helping team members develop their careers, or helping clients with challenges in their business.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I have worked on so many projects for clients in the 20 years I have been an auditor across various sectors. I love all of my clients for different reasons, ultimately I like a challenge and therefore if there is a problem, something needs investigating, an anomaly or a new technical standard to apply, then I am in my element looking for the answer.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Believe it or not, I don’t really have a bucket list. I am however very competitive and I like to push myself, so 2023 is all about the velodrome (the Masters Worlds are in Manchester this year).
Beyond that I would love to have a donkey as a pet one day, I can’t really explain why!
