What do you do?

I’m a Relationship Partner which means I’m the first point of contact for whatever support my clients need. I spend time getting to know you and your business, listening to your challenges and helping you to tackle them. I will introduce you to the right specialists within our tax, deals and wealth teams as and when you need them.

I’m also an Audit Partner so responsible for the audit work we do and signing off the audit reports we give. This means working with clients and our audit teams to understand your business, identify issues and develop solutions to these so that you meet your reporting requirements.

Why do you do it?
I’m a numbers geek and studied maths at university so accountancy was a natural career choice. But, I’m also curious. I love problem solving and I feel brilliant when I use my skills and experience to make a difference to a colleague or a client.

Having spent 15 years at a Big 4 firm I joined CP in 2019 for a fresh challenge. I love the passion of the team and the way we embrace change and new opportunities.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?
Literally hundreds of audits with diverse companies including owner managed, private equity backed and foreign owned subsidiaries. My sector experience is in aerospace supply chain, general manufacturing and food and drink supply.

Beyond compliance I’ve been involved in acquisitions, business sales, finance system implementations, post-merger integrations and even a few IPOs.
In all of these it has been understanding the people involved and maximising their unique strengths which has made the project successful.

What’s on top of your bucket list?
I’m an explorer so really enjoying travelling again post Covid! I’ve got my sights on a Safari and wine tour in Southern Africa.
Being a bit more ambitious I’d like to climb one of the great mountains of the world – not sure I’m up to Everest but maybe Kilimanjaro or Mount Kenya.
