What do you do?

My role is to connect with entrepreneurs and CFOs of high-growth businesseslooking at how we can best support their scaleup journey in a way that brings success to both their personal and business objectives.

Why do you do it?

love discovering the drivers behind a business and how best to support their growth ambitions. With 20 years’ marketing and BD experience at a Big 6 firm, it was time to take the best of this and mix it with a firm that has the entrepreneurial spirit to match that of its clients.

At Cooper Parry, there’s a real desire to do what really matters – and there’s no grey, there’s no boringThere’s a ‘can do’ attitude which comes through in every conversationwhether it’s with colleagues, clients or community. Working for a firm that looks to buck the trend and provides the opportunity, support and trust to do things differently for the benefit of its people and clients – it’s a no-brainer!

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Its an exciting time as we grow our presence in London, and it’s great to be able to shape our direction of travel.  I’ve really enjoyed being part of the team developing our CP Futures message and offering, and itexciting to see how well this is landing within the marketplace.

Being able to introduce clients to a team with the relevant expertise, insight and connections that truly add value to a business is hugely rewarding. Also, as the firm is on its B Corp journey, I’ve been really interested in the work were doing around sustainability reporting and connecting with businesses where ESG is at the top of their agenda.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I’d relish the opportunity to go travelling with my daughtersso they can see our beautiful planet without a screen or filterIt would be great to see more of Asia and share that experience with them – Asian food is probably my favourite – though theres so much of Europe to explore

However, I think I would have to go with South Africa as my top choice; taking them on a safari would be amazing, especially whilst we can still see the Big Five! They would love the adventure.
