What do you do?

I’m an Audit Director within the Big Business team based in the West Midlands. This means I work closely with relationship partners, to manage audits of large groups, AIM listed entities and private equity backed businesses. I also work on pitches for new clients and develop opportunities for work.

Why do you do it?

I was at KPMG for 12 years but on returning from maternity I was looking for something different. I still loved audit but needed a change from the Big 4.

I love the variety that audit brings (no 2 days are the same) and the amazing people (both clients and colleagues) that I get the opportunity to work with. I enjoy being nosey and getting into the depths of clients process and systems.

I love audit at CP because of the amazing culture, the flexibility and close-knit team that I am part of.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

My focus in on audit. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and how they operate – getting into the detail is super interesting!  I am always trying to find ways I can add value to the businesses while also auditing efficiently.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I have 2 little girls and I can’t wait to be able to travel with them and introduce them to the world. I want to show them what the world had to offer in terms of geography, cultures, and adventure!

Also my brother and I committed (a long time ago) to doing a cross-country ski marathon, I would love to actually follow through with this one day!
