What do you do?

I do service charge accounts for both commercial and residential properties. This requires me to analyse expenditure and add any accruals, prepayments or journals necessary for that year end. I also raise queries and answer queries between the company and the client and action them where required. Some other things I do is VAT Returns and Statutory Accounts.  

Why do you do it?

After going to university for a year to study Veterinary Physiotherapy, I decided university wasn’t for me. I had always enjoyed maths growing up and had always been interested in going into the finance sector. I applied to CP and as soon as I came to the business I fell in love with atmosphere, people and culture of the place and have been here ever since.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

On top of my bucket list is to go to Borneo and help out with the orangutan nursery. This has always been top of my bucket list as I have always loved monkeys and since watching Orangutan Jungle School on the TV and seeing the work they do there, I’ve always wanted to go there and help with the amazing work.
