What do you do?

I help support my clients to understand their business, help them navigate starting up a business and growing their business from their initial idea to fruition. I am the person who they can ring about all business & compliance related issues (i.e. Tax, PAYE, VAT & Accounts and anything else in between) as well as helping them understand the numbers, how to improve their profit and cashflow and help them be successful.

Why do you do it?

I wanted to be either an Accountant or a Midwife when I left school. My fall back was to be a mid-wife if Accountancy didn’t work out, but thankfully it did. I love working with all of my clients here at Cooper Parry and each day is never the same!

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I have been involved with clients from the initial set up phase of their business in an old agricultural building and seen them grow and expand each year…eventually selling their company, which was an exciting journey and experience.

What’s top of your bucket list?

Top of my bucket list is to experience a hot air balloon ride. I went to Cappadocia a few years back to do just this, but the weather was against me and the hot air balloon flights were cancelled. It is still definitely something I will do in the future.
