What do you do?

I lead the Innovation team here at Cooper Parry, which allows me to support clients across varying sectors throughout their innovation journey. My role also enables me to support the growth and development of our specialist team.

Why do you do it?

Having worked in an accountancy practice since 2004, I have assisted clients with accounts preparation, tax compliance, tax advisory and I have always enjoyed having a great rapport with clients. For me, it is more about the journey than the destination which is why it is so important to work closely with our clients to support each step of their innovation cycle.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I have considerable experience dealing with a wide range of industries and varying sizes of claims. From supporting clients with claims that amount to relief of tens of thousands to some clients that have received hundreds of thousands of pounds of relief. My particular interest is in manufacturing claims. I like to see the end product being launched having gained the detailed insights of all the hard work and effort that goes on behind the scenes.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I love the outdoors and snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef is definitely on my bucket list, along with so many other beautiful places in the world that I would like to explore.
