What do you do?

I’m an Audit Senior Manager in the PB East team. I look after a variety of clients and make sure that their financial statements are materially accurate from both a performance and reporting point of view.

Why do you do it?

I like looking into numbers and understanding where they have come from along with discovering patterns that might emerge. I’ve also wanted to work for Cooper Parry for a couple of years so when a position came available that I thought would suit my skills well I took the opportunity.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I work with clients who report in UK GAAP and IFRS, from single entities to large multi-national groups. I’ve previously spent two years working as Head of Finance for a national retailer so understand and empathize with clients and their view of auditors (which isn’t always good!)

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I’d love to do full Lions tours of Australia and New Zealand. 2025 and 2029 are coming too soon, having a young family at home, but watch out 2037 and 2041!

On a more realistic timescale, I’m yet to visit the great European cities of Rome or Athens – seeing these is right up there too. I should probably include Warsaw on that list too!
