What do you do?

You wouldn’t buy a car without looking under the bonnet. We do the same for businesses: we dig into the numbers before a deal happens so there are no nasty surprises afterwards.

WhY do you do IT?

I studied aeronautical engineering at university, so accountancy wasn’t the obvious path, but it all comes back to the numbers. I enjoy the problem-solving, and the only thing that changes is what you’re adding up.

what kind of projects are you involved in?

At CP, I’ve worked with a wide range of businesses, from longstanding owner-managed companies in the Private Business team to high-growth tech start-ups in Tech & High Growth. Now in Deals, I’ve worked on several transactions across industries from entertainment to software. Every one is a chance to broaden my experience.

WhAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST? 

Winning at Henley Royal Regatta. After 10 years as a coxswain, and despite reaching a semi-final and a quarter-final, the red box remains elusive!
