What do you do?

I work in Business Development within Cooper Parry Deals Origination team for our Corporate Finance division. My role is to build relationships with privately owned UK businesses across our core sectors of Business & Professional Services, Healthcare, Technology, and Automotive. We support owners with growth strategies through capital raising, PE investment, or acquisitions, as well as planning for eventual sale. From there, we connect clients with the right advisors and share market intelligence, insights, and experience drawn from our international REACH M&A network.

Why do you do it?

I love connecting with business owners and learning about the journeys behind the companies they’ve built. Every conversation is an opportunity to understand their ambitions and challenges, and it’s rewarding to help shape the next phase of growth or succession. The diversity of people and businesses I meet makes this role both fascinating and fulfilling.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve worked across multiple verticals in all our sectors. For instance, within Technology I’ve covered RegTech, AutoTech, and HealthTech, then across Business & Professional Services this includes Legal Services, Insurance, and Training/Compliance to name but a few.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Travel – specifically New Zealand! I’ve been captivated by its landscapes since childhood as a fan of The Lord of the Rings. It’s a stunning country I’d love to explore and experience firsthand.
