- Apprentice Solicitor
Let’s talk today
Want us to call you? Let’s start a conversation!
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I am an apprentice solicitor supporting senior solicitors on a wide range of legal matters while working towards my SQE qualifications at the University of Law. My role combines formal study with practical experience, allowing me to develop legal knowledge while applying it in real client scenarios. This mix of learning and hands-on work helps me build both technical expertise and commercial awareness.
WHY DO YOU DO IT?
I have always enjoyed solving complex problems and finding strategic solutions. During my law degree at the University of York, I discovered that the aspect I enjoy most is anticipating potential issues and planning practical ways to overcome them. Joining Cooper Parry Law has given me the perfect opportunity to do this, by helping clients navigate their legal challenges, while personally growing with a dynamic, forward-thinking firm. I love the intellectual challenge and the positive impact we make for clients.
WHAT KIND OF SPECIAL PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?
I’m not new to Cooper Parry. In my previous role, I helped design and optimize our onboarding process to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering requirements and supported the transition of our CRM system from Dynamics to Salesforce.
Since moving into the legal team, I’ve had the opportunity to assist fee earners on a variety of corporate legal matters, including (…but not limited to) restructuring and mergers & acquisitions. These experiences have given me insight into the complexities of corporate transactions, and I’m excited to continue expanding my involvement across different areas of law in the future.
WHATS ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?
The main things on my bucket list are travel related. A road trip through Italy, going back to Slovenia, visiting Japan and learning a new language.
