What do you do?

At a very high level, I run a delivery practice that implements a software platform called NetSuite, which companies can use to run their entire business.

WhY do you do IT?

I fell into NetSuite and software consulting when I got a graduate scheme at Oracle back in 2018. I left Oracle to join Macrofin in 2020 before we were acquired by Cooper Parry in late 2024. I’ve seen most of the journey as I was Macrofin’s second-longest-standing employee prior to acquisition, so it has been amazing to be a part of the initial growth, and now, post-acquisition, I get a lot of energy & fulfilment from continuing to build & scale the business as part of the CPD NetSuite Senior Management Team.

WhAT KINDS OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

As a sponsor & consultant, I have been involved in close to 60 implementations now, and I’m probably not too far away from 100 total NetSuite engagements. I have been involved in projects across a wide range of industries & sectors, such as SaaS, professional services, wholesale distribution, retail, crypto, and not-for-profit, to name but a few. Projects in these industries have ranged from rapid 2-month implementations of NetSuite to multi-country, multi year enterprise level roll outs, so a real mixed bag.

WhAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?

Japan is top of my bucket list. This feels like a fairly generic choice now with how much Japan has exploded in popularity over recent years but I love the food, the culture, the architecture their media so it is still my dream trip. I was due to go 2/3 years ago but unfortunately a health issue has limited my travels somewhat. I am however, hoping to go at some point over the next few years.
