Why do you do it?

Financial due diligence is arguably the most important part of a transaction as it takes you to the core of the deal. Without comfort over the numbers, it all falls flat. I wanted to get into the furnace of it all and doing this with the specialist team at CP continues to be an exceptional experience.

What kinds of projects have you been involved in?

Our works often forms the basis of the commercial negotiation between the buyer and the seller and because of it, we have saved clients hundreds of thousands of pounds when it comes to paying for the business they want.

Being a private equity firms (or any buyers) right hand man when it comes to crunching the numbers is a wonderful and powerful seat to be in. So the pressure is always on to get it right. An absolute thrill!

What’s on top of your bucket list?

There is no reward without some level of risk…. This can be seen with career goals or travel itineraries and so diving with Manta Ray’s in the Red Sea at depths of 35 meters is high up there…. Going deep is risky but it is where the Manta’s prey after all….
