What do you do?

A big part of what I do is build relationships with clients and act as a trusted sounding board for financial and strategic advice. I thrive off the relationships I build and ensure that all clients, colleagues and stakeholders feel they can reach out for advice where needed. I am part of both the FCA-regulated team and the Digital team helping clients to expand their own knowledge in these sectors and how they interact with one another. This has allowed me to look at fast growing businesses in the Crypto, Bitcoin and digital assets sector alongside Andy Jepson and Chris Evans.

Why do you do it?

CP gives me the flexibility to be the individual I want to be, balancing personal and work life and time behind a desk with meeting clients and different business owners. I became involved in audit straight out of university and haven’t looked back since. It isn’t just about spreadsheets; the key to any success is project management, whether that be with a client, internally for stakeholders or planning an audit job. The fast-paced environment of CP keeps me on my toes.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

My specialist area is Crypto, which I fell into in 2022. This has allowed opportunities with multiple businesses in the sector, keeping them up to date with industry standards and specific regional laws and regulations. Additionally, I work closely with the Swiss NASDAQ to obtain approval for a Crypto business to float on the exchange, providing advice on best practices and ensuring annual compliance is met.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

The top of my bucket list is to see the modern 7 wonders of the world. I have crossed off the Colosseum and, more recently this year, visited the Pyramids of Giza (albeit an ancient wonder). My wife and I have plans to see them all by 2040, and believe it would be a great achievement to see them all in a lifetime. For something more relaxing, a trip to the Maldives.
