What do you do?

I am an Assistant Manager in Transaction Services working in financial due diligence for companies involved in deals such as mergers, acquisitions, or investments. Our team helps clients understand the financial health of a business before they buy or sell it. My role is to analyse management accounts and forecasts, identify risks, and check if the numbers make sense. I also prepare reports for clients and sometimes help with deal-related questions. 

WHY DO YOU DO IT?

I enjoy working with a variety of clients and the fact that no two projects are the same. I particularly enjoy Transaction Services because of the practical nature of the work. The analysis we perform directly supports clients in determining company valuations and securing funding agreements.  

CP have been great. They facilitated my internal move from audit to the transaction services and are always available to listen and provide guidance whenever I have concerns or questions.  

WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

I have primarily worked on financial due diligence projects for buy-and-build strategies, supporting private equity firms and investment companies in evaluating potential acquisitions. These projects involved analysing historical financial performance, assessing key risks, and validating assumptions to help clients make informed decisions. 

In addition, I have been involved in vendor assist engagements, where we help companies prepare for a sale by reviewing financial information and ensuring it is presented accurately and transparently to prospective buyers. 

I have also worked on funding due diligence projects, advising on multi-million-pound loan facilities provided by some of the high-street banks. This included assessing the borrower’s financial health, cash flow sustainability, and ability to meet debt obligations. 

WHAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?

I love sport and I love travelling, therefore I would love to see England play overseas in a World Cup or European Cup.
