What do you do?

I joined Cooper Parry as CFO with a strong Transaction Services background, becoming deeply embedded in the firm’s culture and growth journey.

I’ve played a central role in securing external investment and financing to support the group’s expansion, while overseeing more than 20 acquisitions that have shaped our evolution in recent years.

I now focus on driving the Advisory side of the business forward, bringing experience, energy, and ambition to support continued growth.

Why do you do it?

I’ve always worked in much larger businesses, but I took a call from a friend about joining CP and jumped at the chance after meeting some of the people here.

The culture is fantastic – we genuinely want to make a difference in everything we do. I’m well supported, but also given the freedom to drive things forward and build the right teams around me. I rely heavily on those teams and really enjoy working with them.

No two days are ever the same – I love the variety and the fast pace we operate at.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

In my time at CP, I’ve helped to complete the integration after our merger in the West Midlands, led the divestment of some areas of the business that we didn’t feel were part of the firm’s longer-term future, refinanced all of our main banking facilities with HSBC, supported the opening of offices in London, and started the process of reviewing and upgrading our central systems.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I have an ever-growing bucket list!! It’s hard to pick what should be top but I’d be really keen to see The Killers in their home town in Las Vegas, and then maybe hit the tables…
