What do you do?

I’m an Audit Director within the Big Business team looking after AIM listed entities, large groups and private equity backed business. I’d describe my role as looking after clients and making the audit process as smooth and straightforward as possible for them. I’m naturally inquisitive and enjoy getting under the skin of a business to understand how it works and what makes it different. I also enjoy getting to know my clients personally, learning what matters to them and what they want to achieve. The audit gives us a real opportunity to identify where we can help, find practical solutions and suggest improvements that genuinely add value.

WhY do you do IT?

If I’m honest, I fell into audit because I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do. I haven’t looked back since! I enjoy the variety of the role, getting to know different businesses and building long-standing relationships with clients. No two days are quite the same, and I’m always learning something new.

WhAT KINDS OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

My main focus is audit. I enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding how their businesses operate and getting into the detail. I’m always looking for practical ways to add value while ensuring the audit process is as smooth and efficient as possible.

WhAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST? 

Seeing more of the world is definitely top of my bucket list. I love the idea of discovering new places, experiencing different cultures and making memories, although deciding where to go first might be the biggest challenge!
