What do you do?

I recruit for the Professional Services sector of Cooper Parry. Recruiting Audit, Tax, Business Services and Outsourcing and Deals individuals at a Senior Manager and Director level.

Why do you do it?

I do it because I genuinely love working with people. Building relationships, understanding what motivates someone, and helping them find a role where they can thrive is incredibly rewarding. One of the best parts of recruitment is watching candidates grow, develop their careers, and achieve goals they may not have thought possible. Seeing the impact the right opportunity can have on someone’s future is what makes the job so meaningful to me. I also love being part of CP, where people and relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

One of the most exciting projects I’ve been involved in has been helping to build and expand CP’s overseas recruitment capability. This has given me the opportunity to connect with talented professionals from different markets, develop new talent pipelines, and support the growth of our international teams. It’s been rewarding to see those efforts translate into successful hires who have made a real impact on the business. I’ve also worked on a range of recruitment projects, from sourcing talent for niche and hard-to-fill roles to supporting business growth and workforce planning initiatives. Each project brings a new challenge, and I enjoy working closely with hiring managers to find the right people for their teams. For the business, this means access to high-quality talent that supports long-term growth, while for candidates, it means finding opportunities where they can develop, succeed, and build rewarding careers.

What’s top of your bucket list?

For me, it’s about spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new places through short breaks and longer holidays, and embracing opportunities that help me grow both in my career and as a person.
