What do you do?

With over 15 years’ experience across professional and financial services, I have built a career helping organisations understand risk, strengthen governance, and make informed decisions. My background includes risk management within financial services as well as audit and advisory roles, giving me a broad perspective on the operational, regulatory, and commercial challenges businesses face throughout their growth journey.

WhY do you do IT?

At Cooper Parry, I work with business owners, management teams, and finance leaders across a range of sectors. I enjoy helping clients navigate change, manage risk, and build confidence in their future through high-quality assurance and commercially focused advice. While audit forms the foundation of what I do, I take particular satisfaction in understanding the bigger picture: the ambitions of the business, the challenges facing management teams, and the opportunities that lie ahead. What I really enjoy in my role is the opportunity to build long-term relationships. Taking the time to understand a business, its ambitions, and the people behind it enables me to provide support that goes beyond the audit process and delivers genuine value.

WhAT KINDS OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

Throughout my career, I have gained experience leading complex engagements, managing stakeholder relationships, developing high-performing teams, and supporting businesses through periods of growth and change. Having worked across both financial services and professional practice environments, I understand the importance of balancing strong governance and risk management with commercial pragmatism and entrepreneurial ambition. What motivates me most is working with people. Whether supporting clients to achieve their strategic objectives, mentoring future leaders, or helping teams navigate challenges, I believe lasting success is built on trust, collaboration, and strong relationships. I am passionate about creating environments where people can develop, perform at their best, and enjoy what they do.

WhAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST? 

I’m a husband and father to two boys, who do a very good job of ensuring I don’t take myself too seriously. Much of my spare time is spent exploring new places, getting outdoors, and making family memories, interspersed with the occasional living room obstacle course and debates on topics ranging from dinosaurs to superheroes. They bring plenty of fun, perspective, and energy to life beyond the office. Bucket list item is to go to Japan when I turn 40 (which is creeping up fast!)
