WHAT DO YOU DO?

As an Advisory Partner I help entrepreneurial businesses, their owners and their investors in buying or selling businesses. My specialism is in Transactions, but I also work across Restructuring and Forensic Accounting. 

WHY DO YOU DO IT?

I love working with driven, focused entrepreneurs and helping them achieve their dreams; it never gets old. 

What I love most is the sense of being part of a team with our clients as we go on that transaction journey together. 

Working in this space can be exciting but intense: long days, deadlines, big decisions, plenty of ups and downs. But there’s real camaraderie and a sense of togetherness in being in the trenches side by side, solving problems, navigating the tough moments, and celebrating the wins. At the end, when you’ve genuinely made a difference, it’s really fulfilling. 

WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

I’ve advised on a wide range of projects across sectors such as healthcare, specialist care, engineering, professional services, and manufacturing. That includes helping founders sell businesses they’ve built over decades, guiding management teams through private equity investment, and supporting growth through strategic acquisitions. I’ve also carried out valuations for everything from shareholder planning to complex disputes. A big part of my work has been championing ambitious businesses in Northern Ireland and now, with CP’s national platform behind us, I’m excited to bring even more opportunities and connections to the local NI market. 

WHATS ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?

As an avid golfer, our group of friends have long talked about a big trip to St. Andrews, taking in the Old Course and some of the other top Scottish courses! We haven’t been successful in the Old Course ballot just yet, but hopefully some day!
