What do you do?

I lead the strategy for platforms and digital transformation at Cooper Parry. My role is all about making sure we use the best technology and systems to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and create a seamless digital experience for our teams and clients. Basically, I help the business run smarter by integrating the right tech solutions and ensuring everything works smoothly together.

Why do you do it?

Heading up the platforms and digitalisation team is a role I grew into through experience. Having worked in Audit and gained service line experience, I’ve seen first-hand how technology can enhance the way teams operate and how it can enhance the team and client experience. Understanding the big picture – how teams interact, how clients engage, and where efficiencies can be created – gives me a unique perspective on how digital solutions can truly add value.

At Cooper Parry, we challenge the status quo, and that’s something I love. It’s not just about implementing technology; it’s about ensuring that the way we work is smarter, more connected, and ultimately better for both our people and our clients. I’m passionate about finding ways to streamline processes, improve collaboration, and create systems that support growth and innovation.

What really drives me is seeing the impact of digital transformation – making things work better, faster, and with more ease for everyone involved.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve been fortunate to work on a range of projects that drive real change, making life easier for our teams and delivering greater value to clients. A big focus has been ensuring we optimise our current platforms and introduce new tools that enhance the way we work.

One key project has been the review and implementation of Inflo, designed to improve how we collate requests from clients. By leveraging this platform, we’re not just streamlining workflows – we’re enhancing visibility, collaboration, and the overall client and team experience.

Another exciting initiative has been the rollout of Dave, our digital worker. Dave plays a crucial role in automating data extraction and matching, significantly reducing manual effort. This means our teams can focus on high-value work, while clients benefit from enhance service and quality. It’s a game-changer in how we approach efficiency and innovation in across our teams.

Ultimately, every project I work on is about making things smarter, smoother, and more effective – for both our teams and our clients. Seeing the impact of digital transformation in action is what makes this work so rewarding!

What’s on top of your bucket list?

At the top of my bucket list is the dream of living even more sustainably and continuing to grow our self-sufficiency. In my spare time, my husband and I are working hard to build a lifestyle that supports sustainability. We’ve turned our garden into a space where we grow our own fruit and vegetables, and we’re lucky enough to have ducks and chickens as part of our setup. We’re also currently training to become beekeepers, which is something we’re both passionate about.

Ultimately, our dream is to one day have some land where we can expand our efforts, create a fully sustainable homestead, and live in greater harmony with the environment. This isn’t just a hobby; it’s a way of life that gives us hope for the future. We love spending time outdoors, seeing our plants thrive, and feeling like we’re making a meaningful impact.
