WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am an Associate Solicitor in the Legal Team at Cooper Parry, advising a broad range of clients on matters including corporate restructurings, growth share schemes, and share acquisitions. 

wHY DO YOU DO IT?

I do it because of the people. Our team and of course our clients.  

In addition, I really appreciate the flexibility which CP offers, especially as it allows me to spend time with my daughter and also gives me the chance to stay active through sport. 

WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

I have been involved in a wide range of projects. I frequently assist my colleagues with long-running transactions, which is especially rewarding as you can watch these companies grow from strength to strength.  

Recently, I have also worked on several projects collaborating closely with our tax team on complex restructures. 

WHAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?

I’ve been fortunate to do a lot of travelling over the last ten years, with a particular highlight being a four-week honeymoon along the west coast of America. In terms of where else I would like to visit, exploring Scandinavia is next on my list – now with a toddler in tow. 

On a more personal note, I always say I would love to be able to run a marathon one day – but I would need to take up running if I ever wanted to achieve this.
