What do you do?

I lead the teams that handle paying bills and collecting money. Basically, I make sure our colleagues get their expenses back quickly, our suppliers are paid on time, and we keep cash coming in from clients.

Why do you do it?

I began in Audit and gradually found my way into Advisory and then into our Finance team at CP. It wasn’t all planned, but it’s worked out really well. I’ve loved being part of the business and seeing it grow. And I’ll admit, I do enjoy a good spreadsheet.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve worked on a mix of projects through out my time at CP. From uncovering a £2m stock gap for a retailer to saving £1m through rebate reviews. More recently, I’ve helped integrate acquisitions into CP, making sure everything runs smoothly, and I’m now focused on system improvements and using automation to make our AP & AR processes faster and smarter.

What’s on the top of your bucket list?

There is a lot on the list but if I had to say what is on the top- probably Japan – cherry blossoms, amazing culture, and something completely different to experience.
