Let’s talk today
Want us to call you? Let’s start a conversation!
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I lead on the planning and strategy for delivering external financial audits, making sure a firm’s books and records are accurate and reliable, as these form the backbone of their financial statements.
My focus is on professional services firms, particularly law firm partnerships and consultancy practices. I’m developing a specialist team in London dedicated to supporting this sector – delivering high-quality audits and SRA-regulated client money reviews.
WHY DO YOU DO IT?
I fell into accountancy after university when I was searching for grad schemes. I liked the idea of having a recognised profession – and with a few accountants in the family, it felt like a natural route to explore.
What I enjoy most about being an auditor is the variety. I get to make connections and build relationships, juggle different projects at the same time, and dive into technical challenges. I love the research, the problem solving, and the satisfaction of reaching a conclusion, and no two audits are ever the same, each one brings a new perspective or challenge.
At CP, I’m excited to focus on business development opportunities and make a real impact in the professional services industry. I’ll be bringing my law firm knowledge and experience (previously 12 years at BDO) to the table, and I’m passionate about building a strong team of SRA experts here in London.
WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?
My projects have included external audits for a wide range of professional services firms. I’ve been involved in the audits of Eversheds Sutherland, Shoosmiths, BCLP and RPC, as well as consultancy businesses across the marine and construction industries, including Buro Happold and LOC Group.
When clients work with me, they can expect a super-organised and methodical approach. I’ll challenge where needed, but always in a realistic and practical way. I’m solutions-focused, and I believe in clear, open communication so there are no surprises along the way.
WHAT’S ON THE TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?
I don’t really have a ‘bucket list’ as such but have previously ran 2 marathons which is my greatest non-work achievement to date. Having returned from my second maternity leave in January 2025 I’m currently working on my fitness, focusing on shorter distances and have a personal goal of breaking a sub 27 minute parkrun.
