What do you do?

I help scaling companies identify and mitigate tax barriers on their growth journey.  I look at the wider picture to find tax efficiencies and advise on putting strong tax governance practices in place.  I get involved in big moments, whether that be raising investment, international expansion or exit events, and help to translate complex tax rules into practical, commercial advice.

Why do you do it?

I’ll be honest – I fell into tax (with quite the pivot from studying psychology at university!). But it turns out tax is incredibly analytical, and I love problem‑solving and untangling complex issues.

The culture at CP genuinely sets it apart, and the people are second to none. No two days are ever the same, which keeps the work interesting and rewarding.

What kinds of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve been involved in a wide variety of projects so far, from carrying out tax due diligence on a UK tech group for a US investor, to risk assessments for existing clients to identify tax risks and barriers, as well as group entity rationalisation. Working with tech and high‑growth businesses means our clients are always doing something new.

What’s on the top of your bucket list?

A trip to Bora Bora – I will get there!
