Whilst appreciating the need for the audit to be conducted remotely, I felt it was very impersonal. More use of Teams and phone calls by the team actually doing the audit would have been better rather than everything being done via email. It was also very frustrating being asked for information that had already been uploaded.

This is our first year with CP so it’s been a learning experience for both of us, not helped by the pandemic and everything being remote. I think its gone as well as we could reasonably have expected but I’m sure it will be better when meetings can be face to face again and auditors visiting sites.

The school receives an excellent service from CP. In respect of the remote audit which was done due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this worked very well, but the remote working occasionally led to breakdowns in information flow and the school was obligated to submit some information more than once. That apart, the remote audit worked well and might be a long term solution as a guiding principle, perhaps with just the necessary spot checks on site.

Some in-year support would be useful, to ensure that the accounts are accurate and tidy in readiness for year end, and to give us some pointers about what we can be doing in Quarter 4 to be as prepared as possible for the audit.

Great service on audit, responsive and professional. 5 star. Non audit service pricing though is not in line with audit pricing; service great but pricing high; therefore 4 star overall. I guess comparative pricing reflects the nature of the CP partnership structure; how you structure is up to you of course but when it impacts customer experience then it probably needs a look at. Thanks again for great service overall.

Good relationships, positive feedback and being understanding of impact of other work etc. Although this had to be done remotely, the process would benefit from face to face and discussions to explain the unique context of our organisation and funding streams.

“All staff involved with the audit are approachable, take time to explain things if required. This year was first audit using Teams and seemed to work well and due to security measures put in place re access to the area it meant we were able to upload confidential items with confidence. Re improvements – if continue to use Teams perhaps folders with audit area for each section so that documents/uploads are not all in same area as can lose track of what is in there.”
